A retired prosecutor has raised his salary several times and wants to ban his name in court: here's his name
In June 2025, retired prosecutor Anatolii Magda won a lawsuit against the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Kharkiv District Administrative Court and raised his pension from UAH 34,455 to UAH 80,124 (the case is currently on appeal). After a number of media outlets wrote about the court's decision, the prosecutor filed lawsuits against the media, including a demand to remove his personal data, such as his name and case files, from publications.
Anatolii Magda filed a lawsuit against OBOZ.UA and several other colleagues who had spread the news about the recalculation of the former prosecutor's pension.
🔹 The information that the former prosecutor has increased his pension is available to everyone - it is published in the register of court decisions, and his name can be found on the court's website;
🔹 a retired prosecutor in a lawsuit against the media admitted that this data was passed on by court employees or one of the judges (perhaps not knowing that the register of court decisions is open in Ukraine, so it is enough to have a gadget and access to the Internet to find out about his case);
🔹 Magda stated that some of the information about him was unreliable, but did not explain what mistakes were made, and all the information was from the materials of his court cases against the PFU;
🔹 the court has so far left Magda's lawsuit against OBOZ.UA without motion because he failed to properly execute the application;
🔹 the former prosecutor estimated his moral damage from the publication of the information at UAH 1 million. According to OBOZ.UA, he demanded the same amount from other media outlets that named him and published the case against the PFU.
